Velity is a new Thai brand aiming to develop the most powerful electric scooters possible while promising a sporty and pleasant driving experience, even at more than 120 km/h. The brand uses the latest technologies and innovates in order to offer products intended for competition and edgy rides (on circuits and private roads of course).

The VELITY 511-Sx is a powerful electric scooter that promises extraordinary sensations. This is the brand’s intermediate model. It will swallow the asphalt at full speed and promises to burn rubber at 140 km/h. The icing on the cake is that it is the first brand of electric scooter in this power range to offer IPX6 protection allowing it to ride in all weathers .

Motorization and battery

The VELITY 511-Sx is equipped with a 72V 38AH battery which allows a maximum range of 130 km. Intended for use on private circuits, the 511-Sx generates a maximum power of 16,800 watts for a maximum speed of 140 km/ h. With a weight of 47 Kg, the PWR ratio is 357.44 W/Kg. Impressive ! To adapt the power to different conditions, the LCD offers 6 driving modes: park, hyper smooth, rain, eco, drive and smart racing.

Equipment

To erase the defects of the slopes, the VELITY 511-Sx has an efficient and durable cartridge suspension system. The degree of lowering of the suspensions is adjustable according to your weight and the driving sensation you prefer. The 11-inch PMT tires fitted as standard provide excellent handling and braking is provided by two MAGURA MT5e hydraulic disc brakes. The traction control system incorporates 2 sensors (accelerometer and 6-axis gyroscope) in order to improve the behavior of the motors during acceleration and to avoid slipping. Some of you did not miss the SST mention on the column. This means Steering Stabilizer, indicating that the steering benefits from a stabilization system. The footrest and deck inserts are made of carbon, for the most beautiful effect.

Design

The look of the 511-Sx is decidedly sporty and its design uses top quality materials. The chassis is made from aircraft-grade aluminum via CNC machining. The column is massive and ready to handle exceptional acceleration and braking. The folding system is also sized according to the incredible performance offered by Velity. A rare thing on a hyper scooter, a 4.3-inch LCD is present and displays all the necessary information such as voltage, speed, autonomy, power mode... The chassis parts reveal the raw color of the metal in two tones, this changes from the current matte black models. The 511-Sx is the best choice for those who want an electric scooter with incredible performance with a sturdy and modern design.
