The speed is generally limited to 25 km/h for legal compliance, with a range that varies depending on the battery capacity, the rider's weight, and riding style. Many models offer safety and comfort features such as LED lights, turn signals, a horn, a mobile app, and anti-theft systems.

Practical, economical and ecological, the electric scooter is now establishing itself as an effective alternative to the car for short to medium journeys in urban areas.
